SAMSUNG GALAXY GRAND 2 HARD RESET



  Usually, the hard reset process is being required when you are having problems with your smart phone. So it is important to know how to hard reset your android device.

Hard reset is very essential in many cases;

  • If you forgot the screen pattern or password lock of your device and you want to delete the forgotten password or pattern lock of your device.
  • You want to sell your device and you need to wipe all of your personal data.
  • Your phone is affected with virus and you are getting force close errors and so on...


   In all these situations a hard reset may be useful to your android device.But before doing a hard reset please read and note the following points;


  • Backup all of your data on your external device.
  • After hard reset all of your personal data will be lost. So online backup is always important.
  • charge your battery up 50%.

    Make a hard reset using hardware buttons:

    1.Enter your Galaxy Grand 2 in recovery mode:

    • Turn off your phone.
    • Do that by pressing power button and selecting power off, or by pressing the power key for about 15 seconds.
    • Wait 2, or 3 seconds before heading to the next step.
    • Then press and hold volume up, home and power buttons at the same time.
    • Keep pressing the buttons until recovery mode is being displayed.
    • Use Volume Down / Up buttons to scroll up and down in recovery mode and power key to select your options.

    2.From there select “wipe data factory reset”.
    3.Wait while the factory reset is being completed.
    4.Also, if you want, you can also select “wipe cache partition”.
    5.In addition choose “advanced” and pick “wipe dalvick cache”.
    6.In the end, return to main menu of recovery and select “reboot system now”.

    Make a soft hard reset
    1.Take your phone and hit menu.
    2.Then tap on settings.
    3.Go to backup and factory reset.
    4.Choose factory data reset and pick erase everything.
    5.Wait while the hard reset is being completed.
